Samini dares Shatta Wale: Let’s have a live band challenge

Dancehall artist, Samini, has challenged Shatta Wale to a live band performance to determine the best dancehall artist in the country.
Samini who skipped his performance at the recently held S Concert at the Accra Sport Stadium because of delays orchestrated by Shatta’s two-hour long performance said Shatta’s can only mime and
“All he does is miming; he mimes and jumps for two hours and he thinks he is a star,” Samini derided the he was singing with his voice to a life band performance, he could not have performed for that long. “I invite him for a live band challenge. Let’s see who can sing from off the mic, straight from the head,” Samini stated.
But Shatta has dismissed any talk of live band performance stressing that it was not working for some musicians. While the Ayoo hit-maker is admired for his stagecraft, some Ghanaian music lovers have criticized him for poor live band performance.
