Uphold values of objectivity and balance

• Afoko urges media as he mourns KABA

Mr. Paul Afoko has urged the Ghanaian media fraternity to uphold the values of objectivity and balance that characterized the work of the late Kwadwo Asare Boffour Acheampong aka KABA.
KABA passed away last week Saturday after reportedly complaining of illness.
Afoko said in an interview with Adom FM that until his death, KABA was an admired radio talk show host and displayed a high level of professionalism.
Recounting his first interview with KABA, the embattled Chairman of the New Patriotic Party said, after the encounter, he thought KABA was a hostile man but following his interview of Nana Akomea, he appreciated him as balanced and objective journalist.
He said subsequently, he got on very well with KABA and took him as a son and said he was saddened by the death of the broadcaster.
He expressed deep condolences to the family of the deceased and the Multi Media Group and stated, “we who are left behind will have to take of what he has left behind, his wife and daughter and chart the path he followed by being incisive and objective”.
