Upcoming hiphop and Afro-pop artiste, Kelvin Thompson Quartey, known in the Ghanaian music scene as Mununkum Embee, is eyeing to have a collaboration with renowned Ghanaian artistes such as Shatta Wale, Sarkodie, Stonebwoy and others.
He mentioned that collaborating with those artistes will definitely push further his musical career to another level.
Already out with a number of singles like ‘Borkor’, ‘I Dey For My People’, ‘Tribute’, among others, he is currently working on his maiden album, which will be released in June.
Since his entry into the Ghanaian music industry a couple of years ago, Mununkum has worked and performed on a number of local platforms with a number of artistes.
Recounting his challenges as an upcoming rapper, Mununkum Embee said funding has been a huge challenge, adding, “Getting your music to be played on air and promoted is quite difficult.”
He has promised to use the opportunity he has now to promote his brand, music, image and make his music more accessible to Ghanaian music lovers.
