Mahama won’t accept advice from butterflies-Suhuyini

The Member of Parliament for Tamale North Constituency, Alhaji Alhassan Sayibu Suhuyini has stated that former President John Dramani will gladly accept advice and criticisms from current President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

He however indicates on the contrary that he will not in any way accept criticisms from ‘butterflies’ that think they are birds.

It is not readily known who the lawmaker could be referring to but in a post on his facebook page, he indicated that he had a lot on his chest to clear and subsequently indicate that he can now heave a sigh of relief after speaking his mind.

“Let me get this off my chest! Please HE JDM May now consider advice/criticism from HE Nana Akuffo Addo not the butterfly who thinks itself a bird. ? Now that I have cleared this from my chest let me say Good Morning!!!”

It would be recalled that Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia in response to claims by former President Mahama that the GPS App was 419 scam expressed hope that the latter will now accept criticisms now he has occupied the seat as the second gentleman of the state.

President Mahama prior to the 2016 elections, during a campaign rally in the Volta Region said the then running mate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) did not know what it is like to be Vice President and therefore lacked the morality to describe him as incompetent.

At the party’s unity walk in Cape Coast last Sunday, he launched a scathing attack on Dr Bawumia describing the Ghana’s NDPAS as a 419 scam.

But in response, Dr Bawumia said he had a good laugh on hearing the former President expressing hope that he will accept his criticisms now he is in office as Vice President.

“I hope that in all humility former President Mahama can now accept criticism from me since by the Grace of God I have now occupied the office of Vice President of the Republic”
