Suspension of Afoko, Agyapong not right – Prez Kufuor bares heart
Former President, John Kufuor has criticized the NPP’s handling of internal divisions leading to the controversial suspension of three key national executives of the party.
The former president was unequivocal that the suspension of the three; Paul Afoko, Sammy Crabbe and Kwabena Agyapong, was simply out of place and he had kicked against it.
“I was not for the suspension in the first place. I was not for it. I was hoping that what happened could have been resolved but things got out of hand and it is my prayer that things are resolved,” he told Bola Ray on Starr FM’s Starr Chat.
He stated that it was time for the party to reconsider the suspensions of the three executives and reinstate them stressing that party cohesion was critical to future success.
