Hate R Kelly if you hate Kwabena Kwabena – Nacee

Gospel artiste, Nana Osei, widely known as Nacee says he is disappointed Ghanaians failed to accept Kwabena Kwabena’s ‘Bue Kwan’ as a gospel song.

According to the vocalist and music producer, this is because of the perception Ghanaians hold that Kwabena Kwabena is a secular artiste and cannot venture into other genres.

Explaining the matter further, Nacee maintained that R Kelly whose gospel songs are sung in churches in Ghana has been caught in several scandals that makes it unhealthy to tag him as a gospel artiste.

He added on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM with Andy Dosty Friday that, he couldn’t fathom why “the same people who rejected Kwabena Kwabena’s gospel song accept R Kelly in our churches.”

“R Kelly has done many awkward things that Kwabena Kwabena hasn’t done yet he sang the ‘Storm is Over, ‘You saved Me’, songs that were remixed by T D Jakes…”

Nacee further queried in a rhetorically “is it because it’s coming from outside so we have to accept it?”
